The Annual Meeting of the Oxford-Azerbaijan Society was held on 19 February 2010 in Oxford. Chairman of the Oxford-Azerbaijan Society, Eldar Rustamov, prepared and presented to the members tha annual report of all events organised by the OXAZ. During the meeting, the activity of the Society was discussed and the future plans and events were proposed by members. Following this, the election took place. According to the results, Eldar Rustamov was re-elected to the position of the Chairman. Emil Huseynov was elected to the position of the First Secretary. Nizami Gambarov, was elected to the position of the Treasurer and Rashad Mirzayev to the position of the Secretary for Public Affairs. Jafar Naghiyev was appointed by the Chairman to the position of the Vice-Chairman.
